I don't know how to make a .mp3 file?
Uploading and downloading is simple.
I used the Audacity.
It's very easy.
Thanks
I work with open source. The program Audacity is available for some Linux versions.
However, I failed to download. Probably the site is down nowadays.
I will try later on.
I run Mandriva, open SuSE, Ubuntu, Fedora and open Solaris.
This will be a hellish task. I don't whether you work with open source.
Dependencies will be an unsurmountable problem.
Sometimes. However, I do not believe in open source much, because there are not so much excellent programs under this license. For example, the Open Office is still far from the Microsoft Office. We may hate the American IT company, criticize and laugh at it. However, who made better soft? Apologists of open source promised that their soft will evolve super fast. And what do we see now? How many OS would you setup to run one easy program? What “hellish tasks” would you go through? You are afraid of dependencies, but what is kind of your independence? The Russian proverb says: “The road to the hell is paved with good intentions”. Yes, idea of open source is a best thing in the IT world, but it is only an inaccessible shipmaster star (a symbol of hope).Originally Posted by Markarios

For me, open office has everything which you find in Microsoft Suite.
When you try to install a program in open source, it always complain about the missing dependencies. Sometimes or rather most of the times it continues to complain and you don't have to time to fix the problem. That is why I said it would be hell.
However, it goes smoothly if you instal from their repositories. That is the way I install programs.
Zaya
