Thread: Help translating letter sent from relatives in Belarus

I appreciate the information you provided me with regarding my brother Yan. I have a few questions to you. I want to find out how are you related to my brother: are you his friend, a physician, or are you a grandson of Yana's wife? I really appreciate your letter, but I would like you to please let me know where was he buried (or was he cremated)? Perhaps, I will be able to visit the cemetery, so I would really appreciate your answer.

You mentioned you have Yan's photos. Would you be able to send them to my home address: Index: 220092 (deleted further on).

Thanks to Crocodile I am now writing a reply and sending some photographs.
I have noticed a few extra lines on the back of the letter.
