    English-Russian help

    I need some help translating this into russian because my grammer is not the best.

    How do you say?

    I will destroy you?

    Я тебя уничтожу.
    or
    Я уничтожу тебя.
    Please correct my mistakes if you can, especially article usage.

    I'm partial to: Я вас уничтожу.

    But that's really more like "annihilate".

    You mean 3 minutes earlier

    Actually, it would be 'Я вас уничтожу' if you address more than one person. Theoretically, it would also apply if you address only one person and you have respect for him/her, but that's not very likely to be the case considering the action you intend to perform

    I even remember when I first learned that word. Remember when the Russians shot down that Korean airliner near Sakhalin? They released the audio tapes and I recall the pilot going: "цель уничтожена".
