"Не дайте вашему народу обмануть вас своим молчанием" - This sentence means "people want to decieve you but you have to resist that intention of your people". I don't think you mean that. In English you don't even notice such kind of possible interpretation because in English it is a literary cliche. I provided you with an equivalent cliche in Russian ("Пусть вас не обманывает...") instead of word-by-word translation which is ambiguous and not completely comprehensible in my opinion.
