привет !
i want to translate this " don't make your people fool you with their silence " into russian and people here refers to nation so i guessed that it can be like this
Не дайте вашему народу обмануть вас своему молчанию.
it is right translation ?

"Народ безмолвствует" - are the final words from Pushkin's "Boris Godunov". It's quite a clear reference, that gives some deepness.

Народ - не стадо. А фраза "не дайте вашему народу обмануть вас своим молчанием" подразумевает обратное.
Что за хрень вы там переводите? Я могу придумать только один контекст: "Народ-стадо молчит, но страдает".
