Damage limitation:
- ограничение ущерба
- ограничение повреждения
I think it depends on context. And I can't remember when I heard or used those expressions last time. Предотвращение повреждения (prevention of damage) is more used I'd say.
do you know what Linux is?
It is something lawyers say from time to time. So there's no normal ('nice') way to express that. 'Ограничение ущерба' is fine here.
Send me a PM if you need me.
ok, what about if i was doing an exam (this is my own real-life example!) and i knew i was going to fail so i say: "i know im going to fail, so im more concerned with damage limitation"
maybe smt like ограничение ошибок?
как думаете?
Подстраховаться от (на случай) ошибок maybe, or perhaps перестраховаться.
Send me a PM if you need me.
ok, thanks!
