амбициозная девушка would be the most literal translation and better still it conveys the meaning of the original phrase quite accurately. So I'd recommend sticking to that phrase

If you've spotted any mistake in my English, please, correct it. I want to be aware of any mistakes to efficiently eliminate them before they become a habit.
As far as I know "ambition" in English and Russian means not always the same. In Russian it may have a negative implication. For example:Originally Posted by Ceb
"Он очень амбициозный человек" may mean that the person is given a negative characteristic.
On the other hand, this word doesn't imply anything negative in English as a result it may cause a misinterpretation. But it's rather a subtle thing, I must admit.
