yep. whats the Russian for balls?!? as in...you know...

im writing a short story for my class:P

What? Cat got your tongue? You don't know how to explain what you want? Of course, we know, but your "you know" is not enough for our motivation. There are many "balls" wordings in English, and we don't even know the context of your "class story."

"balls" will be яйца, that's the literal translation. There was a situation once where a Russian mobile phone company used an egg as their logo and the Exile said that maybe that's not the most appropriate choice for Russia.

if you mean balls in the sense of courage, then the suggstion from multitran.ru is смелость, мужество. I don't know any comparable slang term in Russian, but maybe someone can think of one.

Erm, no that's not the "literal" translation. The literal translation of 'яйца' is 'eggs', and the literal translation of 'balls' into Russian is 'шары' or 'мячи'. There's nothing literal here.

although, you cant say things like "you dont have the balls", i tried saying it once and the person didnt know what i was talking about. i think it came out like i was saying "you dont have enough eggs" :0
