    Help Translating?

    Hi..

Is there anybody who could possibly translate the writing on the back of this old photograph? I'm not even sure this IS Cyrillic, but it's my best guess!

Here is the link to the image.

Any help at all would be much appreciated! If you'd like to see the front of the image, just let me know. Thanks!

I suspected it might be tough to read.. I scanned it extra large just for that reason.

Here is a photo of the front. Warning, it's a graphic crime scene, with three bodies!

I don't speak English good enough to translate it, hope, this will help someone else to translate...

Well if you put it like that: In October 1944 Ukranian Burgeouise Nationalists broke in at night to the house of Golik Iosofa, residents of the village Germanovka/Germanivka(?) of the Melnitsepodolskiy region of the ternopolskiy oblast (province), shot his family, including a one-and-a-half year old grandson.

The photo was taken only a few hours after the crime

Hey, thank you very much for the help so far - I thought I had no hope of ever knowing what had happened in that picture. Any more translation of it would be appreciated

I don't think there's any more to be done...Four people have done it, and come up with basically the same thing. I think that's all? The only further translation I can provide is this (no words needed): "some people were/are sick f*cks."
Заранее благодарю всех за исправление ошибок в моём русском.

    Thanks for the corrections,
I think that Iosifa is genitive of Iosif (Joseph)
It's quite common to put the first name after the surname in Russian.
