    Малинки

I've been listening to the Diskoteka Avariya & Zhanna Friske song 'Malinki', but am not sure what 'Malinki' are.

All I could guess that this is a diminutive form of малина (raspberry) in plural.

    малинка (singular) - малинки (plural)

Never mind that word - it's just to fill the rhythm.

Diskoteka Avariya is from Ivanovo and initially Malinki was issued as a promo song for a resort located in village Malinki.

I've listenуd to that song a few times. If I remember correctly, the song refers to parties, right? If so, малинки could be derived from the word малинник. Малинник is when a lot of girls (usually good-looking ones) surround a man. For instance, if you've got a picture of you sitting with three girls hugging you, a Russian could have a look at this pic and say something like: "Ты прямо в малиннике".

Of course not! Why would I want to have some good-looking boys all of a sudden? I'm not a gay into the bargain!!!

Интересное идиоматическое выражение. Я до этого никогда не слышал его.

I dunno about others, but the long-haired guy (Nikolay Timofeev) is from my home town (it's not far from Moscow). I know couple of guys, who were studying with him in the same school.
Please, correct my mistakes, except for the cases I misspell something on purpose!
