    быть добру

Does anyone know a good, snappy way to translate this into English? Apparently it was a Cossack phrase (?) used to express a hope for good things, as a summation of a discussion.

All I could think of was 'fingers crossed' but that just comes down to 'good luck' .. and anyway I guess this strays too far from the original meaning.

If anyone can answer this before 2pm I'd particularly appreciate it ..

Actually, that phrase meaning is very depending on context.

'Cheers' - in case of a toast.
'It's time' - right before a battle or something risky. (usually 'с богом')
'Good day' - when you get to your neighbour (especially, to ask him for something).
'Good bye' - when you are going to leave.

Just to check Ветер, you are definitely referring to быть добру ?

Oh, and if anyone knows how to translate it into Spanish and French, too, that would be great ...
