Vincent Tailors.
This is the first message I've seen on this forum (that is in complete Russian) that I didn't need to BabelFish. It took long enough...
Even when I bark in Russian, it turns the whole society upside down.
Aaargh, there's no hope for me..... :cry:
:wink:
BabaYaga!
My dachshund Nora is curious and asking (I typed this question for her because she doesn't know the Latin keyboard at all...neither Russian)
Could you tell us the French, German and Flemish barks please?

:lol:
French: "Ouah ouah!" (pronounce roughly "wah wah")
- although Belgian French-speaking cartoon dogs will also often be heard to say "wouf"... an influence of their Flemish-speaking counterparts.
German: "Vau vau!" or "vuff!"
Flemish:
three dialects here ( :lol: )
- "Woef!" (pronounce woof): big dogs;
- "Waf waf!": normal, polite dogs;
- "Kef kef!" : extremely irritating, noisy, tiny dogs. The ones that DO bark and bite. :evil:
And I'll give you Danish too, while I'm at it ;): "Vov vov!"
Tell Nora I wish her the very best of luck with her language studies!!!
:D
Ah, Yaga, that was truly great information! Thank you! Bow from me and knicksen from Nora!
