And yeah, I'm originally from Reading, but I'm a sophomore at Pitt. I live in Squirrel Hill off campus now, moving out shortly though since the semester's over in a few days haha

But anyway, the Russian department is definitely still alive and kicking. Not sure how prominent the Russian department here was when you knew it, but it's actually one of the biggest language departments at Pitt now. I'm a Russian History major so I take a lot of classes through them, and I'm just finishing up year one of Russian.

But thanks for the welcome! I'm spending the fall semester in Moscow so I am desperately trying to improve what I have so I don't look like a complete dunce to my host family. :P
