Thread: "Лёлик"

I r emember hearing a song on Руская Радио, and I asked one of my Russian-fluent friends if they have heard of this song. They said that they did, and it was called "Лёлик". I searched the Internet, but I could not find this song. Same thing happened with СекторГаза, "День Рождение".

If you know where I can find these songs (find can be used very loosely ), or their lyrics, I would give you a high-five. Thanks.

Yeah, probably... but then, it was so long ago... "Сектор газа" were popular, like, in late 80s / early 90s...

Well, this one, for example, is a big hit now in Russia: Братья Грим - "Ресницы"

I guess I don't remember who sung the song, or what it was called, but I remember that it was a Jazzy type Swing song, and it had many swear words (coincidentally all in the same sentence), and he spoke of somebody's birthday. (I would quote if I could)

Hmmm, I don't know... I've never been SG's fan. Try to search here: http://sector-gaza.narod.ru/ -looks like this site has the lyrics of all their songs.

Btw it appears that the band existed untill recently (their last album is dated 2000). So, maybe the song you're looking for, is not that old...

And yes, this big umbrella pic is kind of annoying...

I can remember only one Сектор Газа song about birthday, it's called "30 лет" but there's no swear words in it.

I remembered День Рождения song. It's Ленинград not СГ.

Yes, you're right. It's a girly song about a 20 year old girl talking about men she loves but doesn't want to marry them.
