Pereslavel Zalesky. 3 hours by bus from Moscow, nice hotels, beautiful clean lake with good beaches, lots of fun things to see.
Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.

Everything in Moscow has become so expensive. I bet clubs (I never go , not interested) are over the top pricewise. Check the Moscow Times entertainment magazine for summer happenings. It can be found for free at the European Medical Center, Patio Pizza, the airport, and most expat hang-outs in The Center.

I agree about Pereslavel Zalesky. A day spent up the rode in Rostov is also recommended, but Lake Nero is not good for swimming. The fishing is nice there. Its Kremlin is worth a visit.

youll probably have the best time with friends on a warm evening in a park with your own bench, a cd player, some food and about 20 cans of Baltika-7

Clubs are for 16 year old girls and 40 year old rich dudes anyway.

Go to the old royal estate of Kolomenskoe about 10 km. from the Kremlin by metro. There's a beautiful chuch and a log cabin that Peter the Great lived in and also a nice view of the Moscow river.
