    hi everyone..as you can guess i'm a new member i speak no Russian at all but am very willing to learn..so any help i can get will be much appreciated many thanks

    hiya

    my interest in Russian is the fact that i plan to travel soon..I have a Russian name...thanks to my parents..and i've only just begun thinking about learning Russian..so it's a ground up education so to speak..this seemed the best thing to try first...and hey thanks for the welcome

    Yeah, you can definitely learn a lot here, and there are many native speakers of Russian that speak English better than us native speakers!

    Native.... that sounds so primal...

    Nah, no real joke... Rytom asked if "Bandycat" was a nickname for a "Bandicoot". Then, DDT said to keep your hands off the bandicoots. It's an animal native to Australia, and he is Australian. That's pretty much how it started...
