    What is your ancestory?

    My great great great grandparents came here from Ireland in the late 1800s on my dads side of the family, and my great grandmother moved here as a child from former Yugoslavia(im not sure what part). Then my great grandpa has a Viking name(Ellison) im guessing.

    My Great Grandparents immigrated from Ireland in the late 1800's as well, but on my Mother's side of the family. There's a little german on that side, too - but very, very distant.

    I believe my biological Father had some British ancestry in him - but don't know entirely for sure because I've never seen the guy.

    What arn't I? Mostly Russian and Kazakh with a little more russian and a little less kazakh. Tho there is british and french and smidge of german.

    OK so I'm Norwiegian,Scottish and there was a Pommy ancector who was sent to Australia as a convict who is my direct relative so that should explain why I'm so f*ked up.

    As far as I know, I'm Western Isles Scottish/ Northern Irish (there is basically no distinction between the two if you go back more than a century or so) in every direction as far back as anyone has managed to look (which is quite a long way, the earliest written record of my surname dates from 1304, and my maternal lineage has been traced back at least a century and half further).

    Irish, Scotch-Irish (not sure what the difference is, to be honest), German, and about 1/4 unknown - probably English, but maybe French.

    On my mom's side i'm 49% russian (1% is missing because of some mythical great great ... great parents, who were Tartars and Poles).
    And due to my father's I'm 25% Berber and 25% French.
