Thread: Spooky sound in Kiev.......

This was featured on a totally unrelated site that I was reading.... What is the sound? In the middle of the clip there is some talking, about what the noise could be.

Maybe someone is playing Stalker IRL - Chernobyl is not so far from there after all .

Maybe it's something happening in the underground?
I have never played Stalker, so I haven't heard the sound there.

Don't you worry, it's just Godzilla waking up again. Not a big deal, really.

Wow, I love spooky sounds. What an awesome soundtrack for a movie!

I work with giant industrial machinery and I've heard machines make noises almost identical to this one. Piston/rod/cylinder assemblies are very common in large machines, I've seen them as big as 9 feet in diameter. Sometimes when the piston moves in the cylinder it sets up a vibration and they act like a giant horn and you get a really spooky sound like this one. So that's my guess. It's a giant saxophone.

But the strange thing is that the people who live there had no clue what it was.
