    silly turkey

Hi everybody, quick question... my Russian friend and I were calling each other "silly turkey" all summer long... if I were to translate "silly turkey" to Russian and say it to her, would it be misinterpreted? Or is there a Russian equivalent that I should use instead of the direct translation?

    Thanks for your help!

Interesting question... silly turkey would be like "глупая индейка".

I assume she will understand, if you have called her that in English before...

For some reason I believe she is not gonna like it.

    thanks for your replies!
... so "silly chicken" is a definite 'no', then... interesting... I guess the only thing that matters, then, is that she understands what I mean... I should have been able to figure that out myself Ok, now I feel stupid... ha ha!
    Thanks anyways!
