Another series that was a great hit when it came out is "The Idiot" -- a screen adaptation of Dostoyevsky's novel of the same title. A lot of wonderful actors are in it -- Evgeny Mironov, Inna Churikova, Oleg Basilashvili, Vladimir Mashkov, Alexander Domogarov, Lydia Velezheva, Olga Budina, Mikhail Boyarsky... The director is Vladimir Bortko, the composer Igor Kornelyuk.
