Thread: Russian love poem?

Hi everybody!

Does anybody know a nice Russian love poem? Late December I will marry my Russian girlfriend and as a little surprise I would like to learn a short love poem in Russian. Then on the wedding party I

Actually I don't like love poems too much but this one I really love. I think it's very sad and very romantic (and pretty short ).

You don't know a thing about songs! Lyrics is not the main component. I betcha.

How true! The lyrics to a song must also sound "right' with the note of music that is applied to it. Some words do not sound good at a certain point in the song and must be changed. The music must come first. This is what separates poetry from a song.

Many times the words to a song do not sound right without the music.

But the music without the words is a poem of the soul

We had to memorize this song on our Russian class. I still remember it. It's really romatnic.
