vkontake is massive in russia and i dont think it will just disappear when facebook is in russian. i use both but like the fact that on vkontakte you can look at almost anyones profile, it's a bit more interesting in that respect
"Facebook" won't be popular among Russians because it's ubermad about privacy... And we don't respect this thing as Westerners do.
