Она занимается ... музыкой
Why instrumental case?
Would you say
Она занимается русским языком.
I am thinking that it would be accusative case
Она занимается русский язык
Я взял палку и нож, мелки и бумагу и направился к холмам.
Apparently, "занимается" is a verb which is always followed by the instrunmental case.

"Заниматься" is not a transitive verb (because of "-ся"), that's why it can't be followed by the accusative case.

It seems to me, though, that the test itself was not written by native russian speakers. for example...
После каникул я опять пошла в школу.

Вот это да, я так люблю себя. И сегодня я люблю себя, ещё больше чем вчера, а завтра я буду любить себя to ещё больше чем сегодня. Тем что происходит,я вполне доволен!
