I sometimes mix cheap vodka with orange juice..................... because I am health conscious and also because I would not want to burn my vibrant, mellow, intoxicatingly sweet vocal chords with a straight shot of vodka.

The last time I drank vodka with a russian female friend of mine we mixed it with lemon sirup and water (and then we played chess and I won! ) I had never drunk it this way before. The most part of my friends drink vodka with apple juice; it changes to drink it with the orange juice!
For those of you with an adventerous soul, try adding a couple of cloves of garlic in a glass of vodka, let it stay a couple of hours and drink it. Tastes fantastic!

Thanks for the tip! I'll try it one of these days.Originally Posted by kalinka_vinnie

I think I prefer it with lemon lime skittles over garlic
Those, who are really interested in russian drinking traditions, will probably enjoy reading about the drinking games:

A girl getting snockered on shots of vodka is fun?
Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.
Ohhhhh, it definitely can be! (If you can cut her off at the precise moment, that is!)

Get your mind out of the gutter, JB! I was only talking about drawing a mustache on her face after she passed out!

Good try, fantom, but why would you cut her off at the right moment if she has already passed out?

So, Russians are divided into snobs and slobs? VM - snob or slob?
Show yourself - destroy our fears - release your mask
And who is he, btw?... Anyway, you should understand: these are relative categories. For people, who snobber, than VM (whoever he is), he is a slob. For people, who slobber, - he is a snob. A dialectics.Originally Posted by VendingMachine
