The last time I drank vodka with a russian female friend of mine we mixed it with lemon sirup and water (and then we played chess and I won! :|) I had never drunk it this way before. The most part of my friends drink vodka with apple juice; it changes to drink it with the orange juice!
For those of you with an adventerous soul, try adding a couple of cloves of garlic in a glass of vodka, let it stay a couple of hours and drink it. Tastes fantastic!
And garlic is good for you, too!
Thanks for the tip! I'll try it one of these days.Quote:

I think I prefer it with lemon lime skittles over garlic :)
Those, who are really interested in russian drinking traditions, will probably enjoy reading about the drinking games:

Well, I guess my Russian female friends are "low culture" then! :roll:Quote:

Well, in many ways one of my friends would be considered a snob, but she likes to have FUN!

Ohhhhh, it definitely can be! (If you can cut her off at the precise moment, that is!)

And 9 months after the party she'll remember why Mama warned her not to drink with the boys!
Get your mind out of the gutter, JB! I was only talking about drawing a mustache on her face after she passed out!
Good try, fantom, but why would you cut her off at the right moment if she has already passed out? :)

So, Russians are divided into snobs and slobs? VM - snob or slob?
And who is he, btw?... Anyway, you should understand: these are relative categories. For people, who snobber, than VM (whoever he is), he is a slob. For people, who slobber, - he is a snob. A dialectics.Quote:
