Thread: Religon in your dear country

I have a very simple question? Are most russians Orthodox Christians?

Most russians (and other ethnicities living here) are atheists. I know a lot of guys who consider that they are belong to Orthodox Church but all of them visited to the church only one or to times in their life and they all dont know any prayers and all of them never keep the fast. There are a lot of tatars and bashkirs here in the Urals, they mostly class themself with Muslims but everything I wrote befor about Orthodox Church is right for them too. I know the only two church fetes that selebrates here - Easter and Kurban-Bairam.

I lived in Kazan', the capital of Tatarstan, and lived with a Tatar woman, and she said she was sort of muslim, but never went to the mosque or anything.

Also eveyrone drunk and ate non-halal meat. They belong to a different, liberal sect of Islam methinks.

There used to be a lot of Jews in Russia and the Russian empire but most have left (Israel, America etc.) /are dead. I believe, but may be wrong, under Tsarism, Jews in the Russian empire could only live in certain areas, these were in the West of the empire (modern day Belarus', Ukraine). Unfortunately for them, this meant the population was centred in areas the Nazis occupied in WWII. Also at the collapse of the Soviet Union (1991), there was a mass exodus to Israel.

By corona do you mean the beer that is made in Mexico and has nothing to do with america except that people drink it here?

Please give us a short history of yourself, patriot. I'd like to know where you're actually from. Using phrases like 'we americans' doesn't disguise the fact that you aren't one. (or perhaps you are now american but were born somewhere else?)

I had better spelling and grammar when I was 12. Really, if he read back what he writes, he'd realise that most of the time it is incomprehensible.
