Point taken on the religious pressure on legislators, DDT. Didn't know of these cases, one learns something every day. I agree that, ideally, nobody should not lobby legislators and the world would be a happier place. But then it is very understandable that the people with the influence will use it, especially when it concerns the very core of their belief. Whether their belief is good or bad, is very subjective. Sometimes they go way too far (like in El Salvador (btw, is that spanish for the Savior?)) and sometimes not far enough (China, you MUST have only one kid, abort the rest)

I seem to sense a hint from господин DDT that he thinks the (vatican) catholics are brain-washed people, who are imposing their will on us enlightened ones. Catholic robots?

The question of abortion is a tricky one. Should we take abortion when we feel like it? At what point is it too late to take an abortion? When does life start?
