Dogboy, I totally agree with you. I once had a German teacher who was like that - we couldn't say a single word without being corrected, as a result no one could get their message across.

Indeed. Strict communication can halt communication.

I can understand the need to be careful on this site as there are many on here learning new languages. However, its well known that a person shouldnt automatically believe everything they read on a website anyway, in any language.
But then I'm bias, I've never been all that good at grammer and spelling. Hasnt stopped me being a writer though.

No, seriously. I think this is how my Russian improved recently. It's exactly because of these corrections that I do not have to embarrass myself in real life by making similar mistakes.

But at the same, I would agree with Dogboy. There is no need of quoting an entire post just to put a comma in it (but please, feel free to do so to my posts!).

And Nazi is written with a capital letter. It's a name, причём foreign. And names, regardless of whether they refer to a political party or a person, and regardless of whether they're nouns or adjectives, are always written with a capital letter.
