    not sure where to post this

    my friend said an easier way to know Russian is to learn the Russian alphabet, is there a book on that, or a website?

    I don't understand. You mean, if you will learn only Russian alphabet, you will know Russian?

    Know my friend said learning the Russian alphabet, should make learning Russian easier. I don't know if what I said, made sense.

    Well... Learning Russian alphabet should make learning Russian possible.
    "Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?

    This would be as if I told a Russian, "learning the Latin alphabet would make learning English easier". It's a prerequisite. Yes, it makes it "easier" but it's not as if there's any other choice.

    Given that there are 'books' like 'learn Russian in N days" with no Cyrillic letters whatsoever, well,... learling Russian alphabet opens the road to less crappy books.
    Russian is tough, let’s go shopping!
