For comparison. Which is easier to read and to understand?

    Slovio version:

Rimju papezx, Jan Pavel II, priehal Germania-navestenie i idil vo prostju supermarket. Kupits sxto hotil, izhodits jeg privital supermarket- direktornik so buket kviti.
    - Skazajte mne sxto znacxijut tot kviti? Ibo ja es Rimju papezx ili ibo ja es vasx milionju zakupnik?
    - Ni takto, ni inkto. Vi es pervju Polak ktor u nams nisxto kradilju.

    ================================================== ================

    and the Slovianski version:

    Direktor:
Ne dla eto, no dla drugo. Vi pervi Poljak ktori v supermarket niczto ne kradil.

Slovianski version is much easier (for russians) since it looks almost like transliterated Russian. But other Slavs (especially Western and Southern) probably'll consider Slovio version is better.

    I voted for infinitive only.

    Keep it simple.

It might be simple for English people, but maybe people who are used to conjugations will find it too hard to tell them apart or something

Basically, if it is intended for native Slav people, go for the declined version, I'd say. If you would like to make your language a tool for non-Slavs to learn about Slavic cultures and stuff, the infinitive version might work better.

The primary goal is a commonly understood language for Slavs.
The secondary goal is a simplified Slavic language as a passport to other Slavic languages. A starting point for travelers/students.

We hope to build Slovianski as a commercial/tourist language for all Slavic countries. Such a language will have huge benefits for all Slavic countries:

    1.) increased tourism spending
2.) economies of scale for e-commerce: every Slavic business will be able to publish a website in one language and instantly be understood by 300 milion poeple.
3.) economies of scale software/game development: an instant access to a market of 300 million people.
4.) manufacturing goods - one language on packaging and manuals written in one language ... again 300 million market.

    Thanks for the feedback.
Yes it is too much like Russian.
We had similar comments ... From Serbians that it is too much like Serbian and from Slovaks that it is too much like Slovak.
So far everyone has been able to understand it.
    That is the goal.

And there was Latin at the time on the Moravian Empire. Slavs could have just become Latinized like the French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italians. They chose to stay Slavic.

You're just wasting your time. Interesting as it may be for academics, such a language will have a commercial value of absolute zero. Where is Esperanto? Why do I get my DVD player manual written in English/German/French/Spanish/Russian/Chinese/Swedish/etc, and not a single line in Eperanto? People want manuals/labels in their own language, the following is a pipe dream:
4.) manufacturing goods - one language on packaging and manuals written in one language ... again 300 million market.
A handful of intellectuals with too much time on their hands do not constitute a 300 million market.

Is Esperanto instantly understood by anyone?
Whereas ... thus far ... all the intial writings of Slovianski have been understood by all Slavs.
And unlike all previous efforts like Esperanto and Slovio .... there are NO academics involved in this project. Slovio and Esperanto WERE created by acedemics without any practical grass roots understanding. Their goal was creating a "perfect language" ....... a "logical language".
So all previous efforts have created artificial monsters that no one could understand or learn easily.

That is why we are seeking input from Slavic speakers from all countries.
Previous efforts were isolated "intellectual endeavours" ....... which had no practical goals.

I think the idea is not new and yet it has never materialized. Where do you get the ego? Just drop it, do yourself a favor, there are more important problems in the world.

I still think this is too East Slavonic. I'm sure Czechs would find it more difficult to understand than Russians.
