Thread: If you won the lottery would you still work?

Why california? We have strict smoking laws here.

I don't know whether what I do for a living can technically be called 'work' anyway, but no, probably not. If I had the money, I'd probably just spend my whole life travelling.

I would definately start my own business... maybe a bar or something like that. I would also take many liberties with travelling and such as well.

NOOOO!!! Don't start a business. Unless you want to die young. It is too much work, everybody steals, too many taxes, not enough money, too many headaches.

I'd stay a student at university for ever, learning loads of different languages and never give any money to charity! Bah humbug

Don't care about smoking, Cali is where the "scene" is at.

You know, everybody hypes up Cali like its a great place. I've been to Diego and LA, and have to say I really didn't like the cities all that much. It's all just too.... plastic for me. Go someplace with character.

I know, mod it to flaimbait, but its 8am, i have a final in 2 hrs, and i'm grumpy.

Heh that was me this morning. Luckily the final was Russian and I completely destroyed it.

I'd invest it in my plan to rule the world once civilization ends.
I WILL CONTROL ALL THE POULTRY! AND COWS.

AND GOATS

I would still do the same thing, but probably start my own contracting company, so I could come and go as I please... But yeah, I really like what I do, so I wouldn't just not work.

I second Fantom. It's exactly what I was thinking - I like what I'm doing, but not to depend on the work schedule would be really nice - I could do some more traveling then.
