Thread: Hospitality Industry Jobsite for Russia?

Hey guys,

I am a cook from Germany and I would love to work in Russia for a year. It is generally quite easy within the industry to change jobs. Especially luxurious hotels often hire people from abroad and provide lodging.

Sites like hotelcareer.com are a great place to start and I was wondering whether there was an equivalent in Russian.

So far I have only found some job-listing websites, but I am looking something where I can create a profile and have employers come to me.

I do not want to bother hundreds of hotels on the offchance they could use a guy like me, but if an employer comes across my profile and decides he wants to hire me I would jump at the opportunity.


Let me know if you have any tips.

P.S: I can read in Russian and could create a proper profile with a little help, too. It does not need to be in English.

Also, don`t avoid job-listing websites like hh.ru.
Create a resume and update it from time to time - believe me, you`ll get lots of responses.
I`ve seen many hotels have got their permanent pages there. Like Вакансии компании Corinthia Hotel St.Petersburg (Отель «Коринтия Санкт-Петербург») - работа в Санкт-Петербурге etc...

That is exactly what I was looking for. I´ve been studying for 6 months now, but it is still hard for me to navigate the Russian web. With these sites you found for me I will manage, though!

use Yandex.ru in order to search in russian web segment.
Or mail.ru, rambler.ru - these days less popular, but still "our" search engines.

Your query may sound like:

-работа в гостиницах
-работа в отелях
-работа в horeca
-работа в хорека
-вакансии гостиницы

итд...
