This books are both in Russian and in English.
Wow, that's quite handy. Now I can test drive the Russian version of Harry Potter before I consider purchasing it, or any of the listed books.

How much by the way? Here it costs 380 rubles.
    U.S. $7.99
    CAN. $10.99

It's more expensive in Russia than in North America, so I think it would be a good idea to fly to Toronto (or any other North-American city) to get the book. You can save about $4!

Extremely cheap. You'll only have to pay for the return ticket Moscow-Toronto-Moscow (or maybe via Frankfurt).

I've read Da Vince Code and it seems to me that I'm not going to read another Den Brown's book. It was so boring to read it especially the end of this book, although I must admit it was good English practice.

I like Dan Brown. The endings of Brown's books are always very exciting. Sometimes, far-fetched, though.

In my opinion, Dan Brown sucks. I started to read his "angels and demons", got insulted and threw it away. It is way too far-fetched, Star Trek is more down to Earth than he is... well, just my opinion.

It's not compulsory reading, so everyone can decide for themsleves whether his books are worth reading. I haven't read Star Trek yet.

Well, I flipped through Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons and I didn't like them besides they looked too complicated to me. Digital Fortress looks more interesting and easy to read.

Does anybody think "Da Vinci Code" is scandalous as annotation says?

I don't think so. The Da Vinci Code is not scandlaous in any way simply because there are tons of other people who know all these things that Brown writes about in his books. What's more, Dan Brown's books are not scientific or something. As far as I know, he doesn't feel like obtruding his opinion upon others. He just wants to let people know that what they've been told about religion since their cradle days probably isn't true.

I dunno. A lot of the facts he presents in his books are said to be wrong and hence not reliable. If you take his books so seriously, why not read a religious book? Not the Bible but something else that tells about Jesus Christ and his disciples.

I saw them in a book store some time ago. That means that they've been translated into Russian.
