Well, although I am not particularly afraid of spiders, I don't appreciate when they suddenly jump on my head. We have plenty of them here. Not the big ones, bit the quick tiny ones. And they manage to cover all our car with the web every night.

Spyders are beautiful! Specially wolf-spiders.

But I love any living creature, almost no exception.

im sorry, but if a human had that many eyes would he be cute?

I'm not afraid of spiders in general, though I guess it depends on what kind of spider is that (the one in kwatts59's picture is extremely beautiful) but I'm terribly afraid of worms, caterpillas and all that sqirming kinds of creatures, even the sight of them. Of course it doesn't make sense, but that's the way the phobias are. And when I was a kid I was afraid of spider web and of white dandelions.

Any well adapted animal that are very unlike humans (anatomically) are scary!

They are so small compared to you dude... Imagine a spider as big as a house running from you, horrified, screaming in disgust and trying to hide in a skyscraper. Does this scene make a lot of sense to you

I'm not affraid of spiders at all.

But I would be if I lived in a country with spiders harder than I am.

They are yaki, but not that frightening, I think.

Me, I just love spiders, I mean lets face it, they are THE worlds best Web Designers arent they!!, but I cannot stand wasps, I hate them with a passion! I used to have a pet grass snake.

When I was young, a student in University, biology department, my nick was Spiderman. I was very good on climbing trees, to get to birg's nests.

For the wasps - once I had a wasp nest just on the entrence of my tent (we had field practice for 40 days). They never toched me, I never touched them. Everybody else was afraid to come to my tent, so I did not worry about my belongings.

Spiders eat all the other bugs, so I love them.
My house is all old and farm like so we get a bunch of crickets in the summer, INSIDE. I hate crickets, so I put them in the spiders' webs.

Well...i guess the point im tryin to make here is...

Those are the BIGGEST crickets I've ever seen!!! Are you sure they aren't cockroaches?
