Since pretty much the only "shoe" was a sandal, and mostly rich people could afford atire other than that which covered your naughty bits... Jesus was probably barefoot.
Вот это да, я так люблю себя. И сегодня я люблю себя, ещё больше чем вчера, а завтра я буду любить себя to ещё больше чем сегодня. Тем что происходит,я вполне доволен!
ou contrair mon amie... i never said fully covered shoes. I just said shoes. Shoes include all types of footwear. So, jesus DID wear sandals that were most likely leather, and most likely made by the romans in italy...Originally Posted by Автобус

I have to conclude you have never been to Russia. The winters are so bitter cold here that people wearing modern Western boots wouldn't last 30 minutes here. Wives of some foreign diplomats have lost their feet to frostbite sporting their ridiculous Western boots with fur on the inside. Not to mention the Italian tourists with their silly pointy shoes who usually faint within 10 minutes of leaving the airport. In Russia special felt boots are worn. They were invented many centuries ago by a great Chinese boot maker Wa Len Kee whom Peter the Great brought to Russia after his famous trips to China to sponsor the construction of the Great Wall of China. In the summer special sandals are worn. They have a very sensual name laptease. In the spring and autumn we like to wear our very stylish traditionally Russian boots called kirzachellos.Originally Posted by Rtyom

Ohh Wa Len Kee was Chinese, I always thought he was Korean. Thanks for the history lesson VM!
funny, i wore my silly leather shoes with thin socks for weeks in russia and never got cold. Maybe italians can just take more cold than russians?Originally Posted by VendingMachine
