Thread: Copying cyrillic text from a PDF

Hello,
When I try to copy cyrillic text from a PDF (it's not an image but actual letters) I get the English letters from the keyboard that correspond to the cyrillic letters. I tried this:

Automatic Cyrillic Converter

but it doesn't convert them properly. Anyone know a way to copy cyrillic from a pdf?

One way is to use OCR application which recognizes pages of PDF document.

Try to switch your keyboard to Russian layout BEFORE copying the text (pressing Ctrl+C) in Acrobat Reader.

Will have to get an OCR app.

Tried it but doesn't work. It's a Windows XP SP3 box.
