I'm afraid to eat store bought vegetables raw. Don't know what has been sprayed on them. Growing them myself, then I know they are ok. I'm growing some other things, grape vines, strawbs, herbs &c. Grapes are another thing that get sprayed lots. So I don't eat store bought grapes.

The real difficulty with high summer heat is baking! But I need my fresh daily...

I can't recall where you are located. That looks great! Balsamic Vinegar, a little Olive Oil, Sea Salt and Black Pepper... Yummmm or some nice Pesto (especially if you've grown the basil!) to dip it in... even better! Can you post the recipe in the Cooking thread?
