Thanks. I see that you see петься as passive voice or impersonal of петь. "In it (the song) is song (verb) abt home", and not петься as "to have the desire of singing". Thank you.

In the song Надежда I see:

Надежда - мой компас земной,
А удача - награда за смелость.
А песни, довольно одной,
Чтоб только о доме в ней пелось.

The two final phrases I translate:
"And as...
