Altruistic ... I can't find an English dictionary but I think this word means "striving for perfection" - to be kind-hearted ..... the film encourages good-will towards mankind so it is altruistic....

"It's a classic film" is a more natural expression, although the meaning is not exact. It depends on whether the meaning must be translated exactly.
