I actually confuse there-their and its-it's sometimes and then-than, but not your and you're. :) Though I usually check my spelling before posting.
It may be strange, but to the "Russian ears", despite its ending, "время" sounds definitely neuter. :)
Of course. I was just pointing out the origin of the mistake when it's made unconsciously . :)
When it's perceived as one word it's "деньрождениЕ" because the "ия" ending is often not pronounced very clearly and is easily confused with "ие". Not to say that the "ние" ending is often pronounced...
It's true that some people (including myself :) ) talk like this in a rather careless speech, but it's incorrect. I think it's because the word combination "день рождения" is subconsciously ...
