Pravit is right. Word-order approximately follows German, except in conjunctive (or whatever) clauses... Which confuses the dutch more than the cases.:)

We've also got that phrase: Ik heb (al eens) gezeten. (I have sat) This comes from 'Ik heb vastgezeten' or 'Ik heb mijn straf uitgezeten'. Why I'm telling this I don't know.
Judging by the wink, I'd guess "Я уже сидел" may be slang or a euphemism for a masturbatory or defecatory activity...
