My boyfriend is Russian, and I'm never quite sure what to call his parents...it feels odd to call them by their first names - I've never been comfortable...

In English, we call someone who is older than yourself Mr. or Mrs. + surname. Mr. Jones, Mrs. Carter, etc....

In Russian, do you use someone's first name and patronymic? (Таня Борисовна, Андрей...
