Well the people in my German class were so bad at pronounciation it wasn't actually anything like German. They just said the words with an English accent completely defeating the object.

This is pretty much true for myself except I did purchase one CD course which hasn't really been worth the money despite what it said on the back.

I haven't studied Russian in a classroom before....
