I still don't understand it. In order to say "weapons trader" shouldn't we use genitive case of "оружие" (торговец оружия) rather than its instrumental case (торговец оружием)?

Isn't there a mistake in the following sentence? Shouldn't we say "торговец оружий" instead of "торговец оружием"?
