Heavy Airflow doesn't really explain the difference between English H and Russian X. I can say an English H with heavy airflow and it doesn't sound anything like a Russian X, more like a Ukrainian Г...
Funny. Your'e muddled up by your ears. It's only "hah", as you said. With heavy air flow form your lungs.
