ok, what about if i was doing an exam (this is my own real-life example!) and i knew i was going to fail so i say: "i know im going to fail, so im more concerned with damage limitation"
maybe smt...

is there a nice/common russian way of expressing this. would ограничение ущерба suit the figurative sense of the expression?
