That is really interesting, didn't know. But here it seems like that the videos for the Belgian market with Dutch/French subtitles have one (more boring) ending and the videos for the English market...

What touched me in the film was the main theme of friendship between Lilya and a young boy who was also rejected by his parents. In a way it is quite an artistic movie.
