I don't always trust it, though, so I try to write as much as I can on my own before desperately going to Google. And I am thankful for any corrections! I hope to learn a lot in this forum. It's pretty important, because the language is a requirement in almost every single job in my country. And I pretty much have only three years left before finishing school.

    Thank-you in advance! :)

Welcome theWagMan! I hope you'll find what you're looking for in here and you're definitely on the right track

You said you didn't mind corrections to your Russian so here it goes.

It was pretty good. Well done! Just a few things to note:

У меня есть шестнадцать лет - Sounds like "I have 16 years". So a logical question arises here "Of what?". But I guess you wanted to say "I'm 16" so I changed it to "Мне 16 лет", which is the way to go there

You listed two languages there but used a singular noun.

In general, watch our for the ы letter
I do not claim that my opinion is absolutely true.
If you've spotted any mistake in my English, please, correct it. I want to be aware of any mistakes to efficiently eliminate them before they become a habit.

    Привет, TheWagMan!

You're not from Riga, are you?

One little clarification to iCake's invaluable corrections, if you permit.

As you can see, we are using double negations.
    More examples:
