Привет,
Its nice to join you all here. Мое имя Кира. It certainly seems friendly here. I am from Денвер, Колорадо, США. My hobbies include cooking, nature walks, and cosmonautics research (Да Космонвтики!), but lately this research is very specialized. I am basically the point person in the Western Hemisphere for questions regarding the spacecraft "Vostok" and "Voskhod". On April 12th of this year we will celebrate 50 years of piloted space exploration pioneered by Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin - Ю́рий Алексе́евич Гага́рин, a name we should all remember.

I am also a music fan. In addition to my favorite classic rock (YES, Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake & Palmer, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin) I've found that I like music from the classic Russian Rock era in the 1980s-90s (Кино, ДДТ, Агата Кристи, Аквариум и другие)

In truth, I am fairly comfortable in my growing skills to read Russian, its the writing and speaking that I wish to improve. I look forward to meeting you in the coming days and weeks.

What kind of research of cosmonautics are you do? Are you studying the history of cosmonautics or technical aspects of space flights?

Lately my research has been more of a technical nature about the spacecraft "Vostok" Космического Корабля Восток....everthing from finding out mundane things such as onboard voltages and batteries Система электропитания (СЭП), supply water quantities, even the function of the command radio line Командная Радиолиния .

In general, I follow all the piloted spacecraft activities up to present day. Are you a follower of cosmonautics ? Your screen name seems familiar. Have we met on the Novosti Kosmonavtiki forum in years past?

Unfortunately, no. My research work is connected with methods of a physical modelling which appeared in connection with the aerospace research by NASA in the middle of last century.
