Thread: Hello!

Hi there! I've been learning Russian for about a month, and I'm really enjoying it. I've joined to hopefully improve my writing, but mostly my reading. I would love to be able to read a Russian newspaper, or better yet, a novel one day. I'm not under any illusions how difficult it is though! My greatest difficulty is definitely reading. It takes me forever to sound out a word even though I think I know the alphabet okay by now. I guess it just takes practice.

Anyway, I live in London at the moment, I'm from the north east of England. Looking forward to getting to know people around the forum.
